Deirdre is a highly respected and experienced Paediatric dietitian. Deirdre worked as a Paediatric Dietitian within the children's allergy team at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children before moving on to become a Freelance Paediatric Dietitian.

Deirdre has a specialist interest in allergy and has managed children with single and multiple food allergies throughout their journey, including avoidance of allergenic foods and how to reintroduce allergenic foods into your child's diet.

Deirdre will provide you with the most up to date advice to ensure your child’s diet is balanced and safe.

Deirdre is an expert in:

• Exclusion of allergens following a diagnosis of food allergy

• Advice and support on safe re-introduction of foods

• Management of non-IgE allergies including using the iMAP and egg ladders

• Diagnosis and management of non IgE food allergies
